John Malvern Wheeler

John Malvern Wheeler, age 74, of Madison, Ohio passed away at home on Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born August 20, 1943 in Painesville, Ohio, the son of Catherine (Culbertson) and Dane Wheeler. He married Terry Branford in Painesville on October 17, 1975.
John was a 1961 Graduate of Madison High School and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as Laboratory Manager at Molded Fiber Glass, retiring after 29 years. He was a member of George Call Post American Legion Post and Central Congregational Church. He enjoyed camping, gardening, reading, and boating.
He is survived by his daughters, June (John) Selwyn of Madison, Catherine (James) Bradbury of Geneva; grandchildren, Gregory, Jamie and Karlie; and great-grandchild, Robbie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Terry in 2016; grandson, Connor Bradbury and his parents.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park. Pastor Richard Hughes from Central Congregational Church will be officiating.
