John H. "Jack" Ruhl, age 96 of Geneva, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Warren with his loving daughters at his side. Born December 16, 1916 in Franklin PA he was the son of the late Marcia (Nichols) and L.V. Ruhl. Jack married Mary Jane Casselman on May 19, 1943. Jack was a 1936 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Cleveland Institute of Art. He sailed on the William G. Mather Lake Freighter. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II. He worked more than 50 years as Shop Foreman at the Du-All Mfg. Co of Geneva. Jack was a very active member of Geneva First United Methodist Church, serving as Chairman of Archives and History. He spearheaded the stained-glass window restoration, was a member of the choir, and served as Sunday School Superintendent, along with numerous other committees. He enjoyed gardening, wood working, bird watching, and art projects of all kinds. The family expresses their gratitude to Comfort Keepers for their loving care. He is survived by, Daughters Lynn (Takis) Larentzos of Warren, OH; Janice (Wayne) Musolf of Warren, OH; Marjorie "Jodie" Ruhl of Lakewood, OH; Grandchildren, Litsa (Geno) Rubino & Maria (Savas) Magiassos of Warren; James (Despina) Larentzos of Towson, MD, Jaclyn (Charlie) Lambis of Greensboro, NC, Wade (Rachel ) Musolf & Michael Musolf of Warren and 9 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Mary Jane, Parents; and Great-Grandson, Jazper Musolf; brothers; Max N. and Donald A. Ruhl. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM, Wednesday April 24, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Oh. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM,Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Geneva First United Methodist Church, 89 South Broadway, Geneva, Oh. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. The family suggests contributions be made to the Memorial Fund, Geneva First United Methodist Church, 89 South Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041.
