John J. Lengyel Sr.

John J. Lengyel, Sr., age 80, of Madison since 1989 he was formerly a resident of Wickliffe, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Hospice House in Euclid. Born August 28, 1930 in Dillonvale, Ohio to Elizabeth (Elek) & John P. Lengyel he married Julia Emrisko in Dillonvale, OH on December 27, 1952 John retired from TRW in Cleveland in 1989 John served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Madison. Survived by His Wife of 58 years, Julia Lengyel of Madison; Daughters, Judy (Gary Brown) Swartzlander of Madison, Mary Beth Owens of Madison; Son, John (Denise) Lengyel Jr. of Madison; Grandchildren, Eric and Matthew Stanic, Mark and Michael Nagy, John Lengyel III, Kira Jacoby, and Nicholas Taddeo;Brothers, Elmer (Ann) and Ted (Donna) Lengyel; Sister-in-Law, Madelyn Lengyel. Preceded in death by His Parents and Brother Robert Lengyel Friends will be received 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am on Wednesday, November 24th at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road in Madison.
