John J. Franek

John J. Franek, age 67 of Madison, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Born February 2, 1951 he was the son of John and Lois (Matthews) Franek. John worked for many years as a Gas Well Technician for Granger Corporation. An avid outdoorsman, his favorite pastimes were spent fishing the Great Lakes and the Grand River. He is survived by Christine Franek. His sister Patricia Miller; his daughter Lisa Eklich and her husband, Kelly; half daughter: Heather and husband Joe Duncan, and half son; Doug Paine. Nephew Bernie Freeman, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Private family services will be observed. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
