John J. Cain

John J. Cain, age 77, of Rome, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Geauga Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1942 in Painesville, Ohio, to Margaret (Dapkunas) and Roger Cain. He married Juanita Ramsey June 9, 1979. John was a fourth-generation farmer who enjoyed nothing else, and he loved it! He was a member of Ashtabula County Farm Bureau, and Ohio Farmer's Union and was also a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Thompson, Ohio, where he served as a longtime usher. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; step-son, Thomas (JoAnne) Frye; and 3 step-grandchildren, Justin, Shannon, and Thomas. John was preceded in death by his parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am, Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, Ohio, 44086. Final Resting Place will be Saint Patrick Cemetery in Thompson, Ohio. Contributions may be made in John’s name to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
