John F. Kearney

John F. "Jack" Kearney, Age 70,of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 at home. Born April 2, 1940 in Maplewood, New Jersey to Irene (Enot) & John F. Kearney he married Alberta (Kappe) Hill in Concord, Ohio on November 27, 1982. He was a 1962 graduate of Harvard University majoring in chemistry prior to serving in the U.S. Army. Jack was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and a former member of the Ashtabula Coast Guard Auxiliary. He also was a member of the Geneva Camera Club and an active member of the Madison YMCA. He was a 30 year friend of ?Bill?. Jack worked in sales, representing several companies including Pfizer and McGean-Rohco He is survived by Wife, Alberta Kearney of Geneva; Sisters, Kathleen Kearney of Fairfax, VA & Irene Walsh of Fairfax, VA; Nephews, Major Kevin (Adrienne) Walsh, USMC of Quantico, VA & Dr. Michael Walsh of Jacksonville, FL; Stepchildren, James (Linda) Hill of Mentor, Deborah Hill of Boerne, TX, Robert (Lori) Hill of Willoughby, Patricia Hill of Key Largo, FL, David (Michele) Hill of Concord Twp.; Grandchildren, Bradley, Brian, Kelly, Sterling, Jessica & Jason Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva with Rev. Melvin E. Rusnak officiating.
