John Edward Byrnes

John E. "Jack" Byrnes, age 79 a resident of Madison, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Madison Health Care. Born December 10, 1927 in Barnsboro, Pennsylvania to Effie M. (Ladenberger) & William H. Byrnes. Married Joan M. Chappell in Willoughby, Ohio on June 30, 1956. Assembler at Caterpillar, Inc. in Mentor from 1973-1983, Nursery Laborer at R. W. Byrnes Nursery, Madison. Formerly worked in receiving at Cleveland Crane from 1956-1973. Jack enjoyed miniature trains. He is survived by his Wife of 51 years Joan M. Byrnes of Madison; Daughters Cindy Byrnes of Surprise, AZ, Connie (Mitchell) Torres of Madison, Bonnie Byrnes of Ocala, FL; Sons Russell (Diane) Byrnes of Madison, Ronald (Stephanie) Byrnes of Geneva; Donald (Jeanine) Byrnes of Chagrin Falls; 18 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Sister Rita Johns of Greensburg, PA and Brother William R. Byrnes of W. Lafayette, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Effie M. & William H. Byrnes brother Bernard C. Byrnes and sister Anna Marie McCormick. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Monday, August 6th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 7th at Immaculate Conception Church, Madison, Ohio. Final Resting Place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery.
