Married on December 5, 1964 in Willoughby to Audrey ?Joan? Slagle
Occupation: Mr. Mooney owned Trotter and Pacer Race Horses and also worked for several race tracks. John attended Kenyon College and graduated with a BS Degree from Ohio State University. John was wonderful husband, father and grandfather. And he loved the Lord Jesus Christ.
Memberships and Affiliations: Mr. Mooney served in the United States Navy during WWII. He had a love for horses and a passion for golfing.

2 Daughters: Virginia May (Jason) Withrow of Atlanta, GA
Jennifer Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Court of Port St. Lucie, Florida
Son: John D. Mooney III of Ft.Lauderdale, Fl.
Grandchildren: Jeffrey, Sarah, Hannah, Azalea, and Asher

Friends will be received 6-8 pm on Monday, October 29, 2007 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057
Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Crossroads Community Church, 6685 Middle Ridge Road in Madison
Rev. Michael Haury of Crossroads Community Church will be officiating.
Final Resting Place Graveside service will be at 1:00PM Wednesday, October 31 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Woodsfield, Ohio
