John A. Mosier, Sr.

John A. Mosier Sr., age 79, of Madison, Ohio, returned home Thursday night, April 12th, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Born May 20, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clifford Mosier and Virginia (Belville) Mosier. John, or otherwise called Jack, was a sales engineer predominantly for the automotive industry for more than 50 years. He enjoyed mineral and gem collecting, and reading and research was his passion. In his spare time, he also enjoyed volunteering and working as a literacy coach as well. His passing was preceded by his wife, Margaret (Sabol) Mosier and parents Clifford and Virginia. John is survived by his four children; Tammy (Craig) Mix of Madison, Ohio, Gretchen (Larry) Covey of Jefferson, Ohio, Wendy Mosier of Naples, Florida and John A. (Michelle) Mosier Jr. of Oxford, Michigan; 13 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; sister Kathryn (Larry) Headley and many loving nieces, nephews and relatives. Friends will be received Monday, April 16, 2018, 4-7 p.m. at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. A Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6345 Chapel Rd., Madison, Ohio 44057. Final Resting Place will be Kelloggsville Cemetery in Monroe Township, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110-9915
