Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Johanna was a good neighbor and friend and we will miss her. She took great pride in her home and property and her beautiful flower beds were a reflection of the care and attention she gave to everything she did. She was a true craftswoman.
One thing I admired about Jo was her determined and hardworking nature. She would spend hours weed eating her creek banks and never shied away from a difficult task. She definitely did way more than most women could do….especially me! (Julie)
She loved her dogs and they loved her. She was always very kind to our boys and seemed to enjoy talking with them about nature and the deer, turkey or groundhogs that graced our properties.
We were blessed to have her as a neighbor for the past 24 years and it won’t be the same without her around.

  2. My fondest memories of Jo are from our elementary years at Homer Nash Kimball. Jo was among the tallest & I was among shortest in our class which made us a unique pair of friends.
I loved that bond and the fun we shared.
God bless her soul and comfort her loved ones as they grieve.
