Joanne Lena Pyle
August 23, 1957 ~ January 19, 2016
Joanne Lena Pyle, age 58, of Madison, Ohio passed away January 19, 2016 at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born in Painesville on August 23, 1957 and was a longtime Painesville resident. She was the daughter of Francis and Hazel (Keeler) Olsen. Joanne married Emmett Pyle in Fairport on July 21, 1973.
Joanne worked for several years as a cashier at the Do-it-Best Hardware Store in Madison before she worked as a cashier at Marc's. She had a passion for horses and enjoyed spending time with friends and family at "The Barn" in Concord. She was involved with Concord Mustangs and Harbor Hares 4H Clubs.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Emmett; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Riha of Concord and their son Noah; son, Robert Pyle of Madison; brothers, Wayne (Vicky) Olsen of Odessa, MO, Ronald Olsen of Painesville; sister, Marie (Art) Mallory of Hartsgrove; several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received 12 -2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6345 Chapel Road, Madison, OH 44057 with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Brandi Hacker will officiate the service. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057

Joanne was a special friend to our son, Rick Lewis for many years. She taught him and our granddaughter so much about horses and so much more. They will miss her greatly. We thank her and Emmett for all the love they have given to our family. God Bless.
So sorry to hear of Joanne's passing. She will be up in heaven now with Hazel and Happy and all of the Keeler/Olsen family. I send my sincere condolences to Emmett, Ronnie, Marie and Wayne.
