Joanne L. Schupska

Joanne L. (Getz) Schupska, Age: 79, Geneva, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011. Born on May 28, 1932 in Conneaut Ohio to Louise (Haynsworth) and Charles Getz. Married J. Arthur Schupska on July 22, 1950. Joanne was a graduate of Conneaut High School. She worked for Peoples Savings. Joanne loved antiques and working in her son s antique store. She also enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband, cooking and taking care of her home. Joanne was an active member of United Church of Geneva where she was chairman of the Memorial Committee. She was a member of Geneva Smokettes, Friends of Geneva Library and the Red Cross. Survived by husband, J. Arthur Schupska of Geneva; Sons, Gary (Brenda) Schupska of Midland MI, Mark Schupska of Geneva; Grandsons, Andrew (Amy) Schupska of Holt MI, Peter Schupska of Plain City, OH; Granddaughter, Jennifer Foster (Solomon) of Midland MI; Great-grandson, Henry Foster; Several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold, Dewayne, Gerald Getz and Stuart Haynsworth; Sisters, Charlotte Hall and Shirley Whiteman. Visitation is from 7 9 Tuesday November 22, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. Funeral Service will be at 11 am on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the United Church of Geneva Memorial Fund, 75 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
