Joan Lizbeth Petrus, age 67, of Chardon, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017. She was born October 9, 1950 in Painesville to Grace M. (Dobrosky) & Frank V. Petrus.
Joan worked as a Medical and Legal Secretary and Transcriptionist. She was employed at the NEO Hospital in Madison and at Drs. Stewart & Risius, Orthopedic Surgeons in Chardon.
She is survived by her loving son, Mark Bondurant; sisters, Barbara (Paul) Chapman, Kathy (Vincent) Robison; brother, Frank L. Petrus; nieces, Laurie Smith, Carrie Chapman, April Lombardo, Heidi Petrus; nephew, Bret Robison and 7 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery.

I will miss my dear friend, Joanie. We shared many wonderful visits reminiscing about our high school days. I am so very thankful that we were able to reunite several years ago. The years just fall away when you can spend time with old friends. Rest in peace, girlfriend!
