Joan L. (Platz) Holbrook-Synenberg, 86, of Madison, died June 22, 2022 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Euclid. She was born August 23rd, 1935 in Euclid, Ohio to Walter and Margaret Platz. Mrs. Synenberg was employed by Neff-Perkins in Perry for 23 years.  She married Paul Synenberg in 1981 and was happily retired, enjoying time with her husband, wintering in Florida for several years, and time with her family. She also kept her house in an immaculately clean condition. Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Paul, as well as sons, Gary (Cindy) Holbrook, Dean (Devan) Holbrook and Gerald Holbrook; stepson Phillip (Jill) Synenberg; step-daughter, Cindy Synenberg; sister-in law, Mary Platz and daughter-in-law Helen. In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Sarah and Bruce, Megan, Lindsey, Byl, Jeremy, Jamie and Jenna, Melissa, Will, Kennedy, Christian, Rob, Misty and P.J.; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In passing she is reunited with her loving sons, Greg Holbrook and Paul Synenberg; parents, Walter and Margaret Platz; sisters, Dorothy (Clark), Carolyn (Peterson), Norma (Bolton), Louella (Rynaski), and infant sister, Linda; brothers, Robert, Kenneth, Nelson, Philip Platz. Friends will be received from 2 – 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Monday, June 27, 2022 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at North Madison Cemetery.
