Joan Cameron , age 69, resident of Euclid Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Wickliffe Country Place. She was born on April 2, 1957 and has gone home to her parents, Walter and Irene Cameron who passed in 1986 and 2007; sister, Diane Pierce, who passed in 1987 and her brother-in-law Hank O’Yaski who passed in 2015.

Joan had a wonderful working career, and served a real estate agent for Berkshire Hathaway and administrative assistant for Steve Bairs. She also was a payroll assistant supervisor for Finest Supermarkets; payroll specialist for HPI Inc. and head cashier for Sweetberry Fresh Market.
Joan had many activities she enjoyed in her free time; she was the past President of the Continental Ski Club and the Metropolitan Horse Association. She enjoyed people immensely and spending time with friends and family.

Joan is survived by her sisters, Linda O’Yaski, Margaret (Mick) Prosek; Evelyn Cameron; and brother-in-law Michael (Sue) Pierce; nephews, Erick Pierce, Dan (Nikki) Pierce, Tim (Jacki) Pierce; niece, Kim (Lonnie) Prosek; great nieces, Lexi and Kestral Pierce; great-nephews, Nicolin, Camden and Deacon Pierce.

Joan will be missed by her loving family and all who knew her.

  6. Joan was always such a kind and loving sister-in-law and friend. She was a great help with Erick, Daniel, and Timothy after we lost Diane in 1987. Though there have been many miles separating us the last 30 years, we always heard from her at holidays and anniversaries, and kept in touch other times throughout the year. I think one of her greatest joys, other than helping raise the three boys, was her having taken over the family tradition of the Labor Day weekend clam back after Walter’s passing. I keep warm thoughts and memories of Joan’s smile, laughter, generosity, and love of life. Her boat was one of her prized possession for many years, as well. We lost her much too soon. May God bless, and warmly welcome her into heaven.
