Joan A. Damanski

Joan A. Damanski, age 88, of Geneva passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at Geneva Shores. She was born March 10, 1931 in South Euclid, the only child of Edward J. and Elsa L. Damanski.
Joan graduated from Collinwood High School, Cleveland in 1951. In 1953, she moved with her parents to Geneva, and for many years worked alongside her parents as a fruit farmer with the Tom White Fruit Farm in Harpersfield/Geneva. In her retirement, Joan was an avid reader.
Joan is predeceased by her parents and is survived by her paternal aunt, Helen R. Michalik of New Jersey and cousins residing throughout the country. Joan’s family is appreciative of the care provided by Geneva Shores and the friendship provided to Joan by her friends Ruby Nelson and Tina Hocevar who graciously provided Joan with assistance in her later years.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Alexander Harper Memorial Cemetery in Unionville (Corner of Route 84 and County Line Road)
