Jessie A. Laird

Private family services will be observed for Jessie A. Laird, 63, of Madison, a homemaker. Mrs. Laird died Saturday, Sep. 29, 2007, at her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Kentucky. Mrs. Laird loved spending time with her family and she had the ability to brighten the day of everyone she knew. Survivors are her daughter, Jamie (Sy) Blumburg of Ashtabula; sons, Dain and Nick Laird of Madison, Keith (Dawn) Laird of Tennessee, Shawn Laird of Ashtabula and Ozzie (Katrina) Laird of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Joy Lee Crowder of Cleveland, Jean Moore of Kentucky and Fay Copley of Columbus; and brothers, Billy Ray Collins of Kentucky and Robert Collins of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oskar R. Laird, in 2007; and her parents, Nicholas and Alice Collins. Final resting place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street in Madison.
