Jerry M. Browning, 82 years old, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Geneva Shores Nursing. He was born September 21, 1939 in Concord, NC, the son of Marvin E. and Ina Mae (Johnson) Browning. He married Judith A. Marthey on July 21, 1962.
Jerry worked at Lintern Corp. beginning as a shipping clerk and working his way toward traffic manager. He was a past Exaulted Ruler, Officer and a lifelong member of the Elks Club in Painesville.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith Browning; daughters, Lynne Jacobs, Sheryl Noble, Andrea (Rodger) Nunley; grandchildren, Mark (Amy) Jacobs, Rachel Burnette, Johnathon (Jamie) Burnette, Dominic (Krystal) Nunley, Richard (Nichole) Jacobs, Matthew (Lisa) Nunley, Marissa (Cody) Martin, Jerod Nunley, Nora Nunley; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Clifford Sharp; sisters, Ethel Roberts, Myrtle Wilkerson; and brother, Billy Browning.
Friends will be received 10 am to 12 Noon Saturday, Sept 24th at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison with a Memorial Service immediately following at 12 Noon. Final Resting Place will be Fairview Cemetery.

Hi Judy. Sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. If you recall,
I worked with Jerry for 28 years. We got along well because we both “told it like it was”. We appreciated what each other brought to the table. He was one if the Good Guys, in my book.
