Jerome Alphonse Golenskie, age 76, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Holy Family Hospice in Parma. He was born March 8, 1944 in Newbergh Heights, the son of Alphonse and Mary Golenskie. He married Jeanette Ribarich in 1985 in Cleveland. Jerome was a graduate of John Marshall High School and Cuyahoga Community College. He worked in maintenance at Hobart Food Equipment and Hillcrest Hospital. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where he loved to volunteer at the Fish Fry. He enjoyed attending amusement parks with his wife Jeanette. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; sister, Ernestine DeBolt; sister-in-law, Lili (Thomas) Behlke; nephews, Scott and Todd (Roseanne) DeBolt, Michael (Kim) Seifert; niece, Kristin (Christopher) Seifert; great-nephews, Aidan, Colin, Elliott and great-niece, Sebrina. He was preceded in death by his parents. A special Thanks to Holy Family Hospice for their wonderful, loving care. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd. in Madison. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing. Contributions may be made to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Road, Parma, Ohio 44134 or Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd, Madison OH 44057.
