May 27, 1948 ~ March 3, 2018

Jennifer (Pietz) Dingess, 69, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Hillcrest Hospital. She was born May 27, 1948, to Julius and Eileen (Novis) Pietz, and married her love, Edward Dingess, in October, 1978. Jennifer graduated from Grand Valley High School in Orwell. She proudly served in the Army as a nurse. Jennifer also worked at Hillcrest Hospital until her children were born. Through the years, she supported many charities, including the Madison Food Baskets, and volunteered at local nursing homes. She was a home shopping fan, and probably owns stock in QVC since she enjoyed it so much. Jennifer doted over her best friend, Roxy, whom she made bacon and eggs for every morning. Always caring, she was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her spouse of 40 years, Ed; children, Robert (Janette) Dingess, Shanna Dingess; brother, Bob (Debbie) Pietz; sisters, June Smith, Daphne (Bruce) Pearson, Cathy DeMattia, Sharon Decker; and beloved dog and best friend, Roxy. Friends may call from 2-4pm Saturday, March 10, 2018, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison OH 44057. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm at the funeral home. Pastor Rick Hughes of Central Congregational Church will preside. Friends may leave condolences online at www.behmfuneral.com
