Jennifer “Gidget” Dent, age 51, of Madison, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 in her home. She was born on May 15, 1972, to Betty (Akers) and Curtis D. Dent. Gidget loved spending time with her family and friends and went out of her way to keep in touch with many. She was known to randomly text or send a personalized decorated card to those she loved and she never missed a birthday. She loved animals and was an advocate for abused and homeless  pets. She considered her own dog, Daisy, to be a member of her family and went to great lengths to care for her. She had a huge heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sisters, Sue Dent, Katheryn Caserta; brother, Curtis D. Dent, Jr.; niece, Melissa (Scott) Lambert, Crystal (Keith) Soltese, Raven Caserta, Morgan Caserta; nephews, Curtis Dent, III, Justin Turnbull, Alex Dent; great nieces, Seirra Craddock, Rylee Turnbull, Jacee Turnbull,  Noella Swetel, and Madison Soltese; great nephews, Gatlin Soltese, Maddox Soltese,  Gabriel Soltese, Vinnie Cranmer, Leland Cranmer, Carter Cranmer, Greyson Lambert, Hendrix Lambert, Dawson Owens, Orion Owens, and Cameron Lardie. and many loved extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, C.J. Craddock, Jr., niece, Tabitha Crook; great nephew, Gage; and beloved fur baby, Daisy Mae. Calling hours will be Tuesday June 27, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. till 5:30 p.m. at New Life Church 4080 Call Rd Perry, Ohio 44081. Funeral Service will follow at 5:30p.m. at New Life Church officiated by Pastor Joshua and Lamatha Dent.   1. I have known the family for 50 years now. Gidget was the baby sister to my best bud Curt and as like a sister to me. The Dents have suffered so many losses. I take comfort in the knowledge that they will all be together again one day!
