Jennie Phillipp, 89, of Perry, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at her home in Perry.
Born Sept. 11, 1922, in Leroy to Anna (Srp) and John Petrowski, and married Raymond E. Phillipp Nov. 2, 1940, in Painesville.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Jennie enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors are her daughters, Donna (Robert) Loomis of Joaquin, Texas, Janice (John) Martin of Windsor, Judy Smith of Painesville, Velma Smith of Tucson, Ariz., and Barbara (David) Mills of Middlefield; sons, R. Bruce (Ellen) Phillipp of Madison and David (Deanne) Phillipp of Painesville; 29 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter Petrowski of Madison, Rudolph Petrowski of Jamestown, N.Y., and Robert (Janet) Petrowski of Perry; and sister, Rose (Dave) Mitchell of Fairport Harbor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; two infant daughters, Louann and Darlene Phillipp; parents; and brothers, Lewis, James, John and Frank Petrowski.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Oplinger will be officiating. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
