Jeffrey W. Akins, age 43 passed away May 31, 2021. He was born September 2, 1977 in Quincy, IL the son of Larry and Patricia (Greenough) Akins. He married the love of his life, Pamela Evans on May 5, 2006 in Ashtabula.
Jeff worked in the trucking industry for 15 years and the last 3 years for Sonya Express. He was an extremely hard worker, giving generously in his care for others. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hiking and spending time with nature. He loved to travel and was proud of having visited 48 out of 50 states.
Jeff leaves behind his wife Pamela; children, Shannon Manley and Shawn Evans; grandchildren, Xavier and Katuana Jackson, Autumn and Alexander Evans, Zeamara Jackson and Faith Evans; father, Larry Akins; sister, Karen (Richard) Roth; nephew, Allen; nieces, Leann, Stephanie and Justina; and great niece, Skylynn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia.
