In High School Jeff was one of those guys you could always count on to be there if you needed him. More importantly, Jeff was the most kind soul and it doesn’t surprise me he had a fulfilling life of caring for people. He was loved by everyone and this is a true loss to many. My condolences to Jeff’s family!
Kathy, our deepest condolences to you. We think about you and Jeff constantly. It was a pleasure to know him and share many laughs with you both. Forever in our hearts, Penguin. Kelley and Richard Bossert, British Columbia, Canada
My husband Paul and I (Minnie Mouse) had the privilege of first meeting Mr. Penguin along with Kitty Boo Boo in Playa de Carmen Mexico. We instantly hit it off, so much so that we decided to go to their hometown Madison Ohio the following summer. That being a long way for us as we are from Vancouver BC Canada. We were greeted by them with open arms and treated like royalty, along with their generous hospitality spoiled us with a night at the Ritz Carlton Cleveland. Kitty Boo Boo and Paul went to an Indians game and had great time with Paul catching a ball . I had the honor of spending the night with Mr. Penguin as his “date” we started at a nice bar with him drinking his usual Crown Royal we ended up at the high rollers lounge at the Casino, Kitty Boo Boo and Paul later joining us. What a memorable night one I will never forget. In Dec 2019 we met them again in Mexico at the same resort and had the most magical time. I'm so so glad we took that trip as that was just a couple of months before the world shut down. Mr. Penguin was one of the nicest kind hearted man and I'm so thankful to have met him. He did things without ever wanting to take credit always anonymous. He send us his famous Christmas fruit Cake (one time while baking a bunch the oven door blew off) I had one bite and boy was I happy after. He was always up for fun, while at the resort he would compete in the dance competitions and him and Kitty Boo Boo competed in the Couples competition them winning couple of the YEAR!!!! He was always making people laugh with his jokes and his antics, he made friends all over. I will miss him so much. I know he is in a good place now and looking out for those he loved…
You are in are hearts forever and we will miss you !Mexico will never be the same without you !!Love Paul and Minnie !
May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.
I am so deeply saddened to hear of Jeff’s passing. I saw him less than a month ago and he seemed happy in the same old Jeff. I remember him from days of Chicken and Thingss when I worked there. My sons would sit on his foot and hang on his leg so he couldn’t walk. He was always there and always had a laugh and a friendly smile and always had a hello. He was such a good friend back then. I was so happy to see him at the Legion as I had lost track. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to Kathy and his family. I will miss him very much. ???
