Jeanne Hartman

Jeanne A. Hartman, age 88, of Madison, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at Madison Healthcare in Madison, OH. She was born April 22, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to William and Gladys (Kerst) Anthony, and married William C. Hartman in Parma on August 17, 1946. Jeanne was a very talented individual who wore many hats….In addition to raising her family, she was a bank teller, secretary, Aurora council woman, and a founding member of Aurora Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and traveling. Jeanne will be remembered most as Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William; sons Randy (Brenda) Hartman and Gary Hartman; daughters Leslie (Tom) Cofojohn and Julie Hartman; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Anthony; and daughter in law Terry (nee Hutkin) Hartman. Private family services will be observed, and Jeanne's final resting place will be at Aurora Cemetery.
