Jeanette Pfouts

Jeannette A. Pfouts, Age 81, resident of Thompson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 Geneva Retirement Village in Geneva, OH. Born March 9, 1931 in Cleveland to Carmella (Minello) & John Tamburo; she married Harold Pfouts in Thompson on July 14, 1956 She was a sSecretary at Thompson Elementary and Ledgemont High School retiring in 1986 after 17 years. She also worked at Ohio Rubber and as an executive secretary at Sidley's. Mrs. Pfouts was a 1949 graduate of Thompson High School where she was valedictorian of her class. Jeannette was a member of St. Patrick's Church where she was involved with the Ladies Guild and was a member of the Thompson PTA. Mrs. Pfouts was a former Girl Scout Leader and volunteered at Lake Hospitals. She was an honorary member of the Thompson Garden Club and a member of Jolly Workers of Thompson. She enjoyed spending the winters in Ft. Meade, FL. She is survived by Husband, Harold Pfouts of Thompson DaughterMary Ann (Thomas) Cannon of Port Charlotte, FL SonsMark Pfouts of Zebulin, NC John (Cynthia) Pfouts of Perry Howard (Cheryl) Pfouts of Perry Greg (Tiffany) Pfouts of Cary, NC GrandchildrenJennifer, Stephanie, Jessica, Christina, Candice, Howard, Kayla, William, Mark & Theresa 7 Great-Grandchildren Brother Richard Tamburo of Thompson She was preceded in death by her Parents and a Brother, John Tamburo Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm & 7-9:00 pm Monday, July 16, 2012, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 16550 Rock Creek Rd., Thompson, Ohio. Final Resting Place will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.
