Jean Kempton age 62 a resident of Perry, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 12, 2007 at her home. Born June 12, 1944 in Painesville, Ohio to Bertha M. (Fell) & Kenneth C. Dawson. Employed as Clerk -Treasurer at Perry Public Library for 20 years, retiring January 2006. A 1962 Graduate of Perry High School and graduate of Ohio University. Member of Painesville United Methodist Church where she had been a Deaconess and Board Member. She was a Member of the Lake/ Geauga Library Clerks Association as well as the Ohio Library Clerk Treasurer?s Association and a former member and officer of the Perry Lady Jaycees. The Family would like to thank Hospice of the Western Reserve and Griswold Special Care for their loving care. She is survived by her Son Mark Kempton of Westlake, Ohio; Daughter Jennifer Kempton of Perry, Ohio; Brother Robert J. (Dawn) Dawson of Perry, Ohio; Sister Kay F. Dawson Minneapolis, Minn; Nephew Rodney Dawson of Mentor, Ohio; Niece Denise Connor of Mooreland Hills, Ohio; Nephew Derek Dawson of Perry, Ohio; Grandniece Michayla Connor of Mooreland Hills, Ohio and her Grand Nephew Dawson Connor of Mooreland Hills, Ohio. She was preceded in death by Her Parents Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm & 6-8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 16th at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 North Park Place, Painesville, Ohio Rev. Gerald Kalb of Painesville United Methodist Church will be officiating.
