Jean Kay Crenshaw

Jean Kay Crenshaw, age 75 of Geneva, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home. Born June 4, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lilian (Adams) Brandenburg.
Jeans love for her home in Colorado and her family was never ending. She attended Colorado State University and worked as a Teachers Aid for many years. She also worked for Ames Department Store and would eventually retire as an Administrative Assistant from Dr. John Courts Chiropractic Clinic in Grove City, PA. A 30 year survivor of Parkinsons, Jean was a fighter and continued to do the things she loved. Baking, eating, shopping trips, tending to her garden and playing bingo at the Geneva Senior Center were among her favorite things to do.
Jean is survived by her daughter: Jennifer (Maryann Gear) Crenshaw; son: Sean (Sandra) Crenshaw; granddaughter: Jazmine; brother: Ed Brandenburg; sisters: Shirley Elfbrandt, Ruth Ilten, and Joyce Kinnersley; brother-in-law: Alden Hill; dear friends: Ruth Seybert, Carol Amon, Jeannie Harper, and Monica Gear. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Janice Hill.
Private family services will be observed for Jean. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her name to the National Parkinsons Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018
