Jean Elizabeth Klinger

Jean Elizabeth Klinger, age 82, of Thompson, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center in Geneva, OH. Born December 12, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to Rose (Sharp) & Julius E. Gottfried she married H. Jack Klinger in Euclid, Ohio in 1965. She enjoyed performing as part of Handel's Messiah at the former Euclid Nottingham Baptist Church and was also formerly involved at South Madison Bible Church where she taught Sunday School and was the Secretary for many years. Formerly she attended Thompson United Methodist Church. She is survived by Husband, H. Jack Klinger of Thompson; Son, James Keith Klinger of Thompson; Grandchildren, James, Rebecca, & Elizabeth She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Friends will be received 3-6 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Gruver of Thompson United Methodist Church officiating.
