Jasper Manka

Jasper Manka, age 39, of Madison passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at home. He was born February 27, 1980 in Benton County, Oregon, the son of Patricia Marie (Osborne) and Hugh Roland Manka. Jasper grew up in San Diego, CA and moved to Ohio at the age of 19. He met Jennifer Bovee and they married on October 2, 2012 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. By trade he was a truck driver working in the food and service industry. Jasper had a passion for music. He loved travelling and through his travels he kept in contact with all the friends he met. He was a stickler for being grammatically correct bringing humor to others. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Bovee, of Madison; children, Ethan Bovee, Austin Malachin, and Noah Manka; father, Hugh Manka of Colorado; sisters, Sandy and Sondra Manka of Oregon; brother Alvin Manka of Oregon; brothers and sisters in law; Jami (Brian) Faulhammer of Madison, Jesse (Tracy) Bovee of Madison, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Bovee of Madison, mother and father in law, Mary and Evan Bovee of Madison; nieces and nephews, Seth, Ethan, Kayleigh, Landen, Emma, Evan, Preston, Haven, Kimberly, Lizzy, Brayden and Bradyn and many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Osborne. Friends will be received 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH.
