Jason Collins

Jason "JC" Collins, Age 33,of Madison, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Cleveland State University in Cleveland. Born October 20, 1976 in Painesville, Ohio, to Kim (Shirer) & Clyde Collins Jr. Jason was a student at Cleveland State University. He was a 1995 graduate of Madison High School and was active in sports. Working out, riding his bike and camping were some of his favorite activities. He was a talented artist and created the most wonderful ceramic art. Jason had a big heart, was a free spirit and will be greatly missed by his family. He is survived by his parents, Kim & Clyde Collins Jr. of Madison; Brothers,Jeff (Mandy) Collins of Kirtland & Nathan Collins of Madison; Niece & Nephew,Rowan Maternal Grandparents, Lou & Gene Shirer of Painesville; Paternal Grandmother,Mary Collins of Madison. He was preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather, Clyde Collins Sr. and Aunt, Debbie Pollock Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Sunday, September 5, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Monday, September 6, 2010, at the funeral home with Dr. Melva Dorsey of Living Waters World Ministries, Cleveland will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at North Madison Cemetery in Madison. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Assessment & Treatment Services, 8411 Broadway Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44105.
