Janet Kessler, age 65, of Madison, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 28, 1953 in Painesville, Ohio the daughter of Alister J. and Georgia (Olds) Beedie. She married Terry D. Kessler in 1988 in Madison Village, Ohio.
Janet was proud to be a Salt Miner working both underground and outdoors at Morton Salt retiring with a medical disability in 2010.
Janet was a member of Amvets Post 1971, American Legion Post 112, and VFW Post 8548. She had a natural talent for working with stained glass, owning her own drafting table and glass cutter. Janet made her own patterns and enjoyed selling artwork at various craft shows throughout the area. She loved her family and immensely enjoyed traveling with her husband Terry throughout the country.
She is survived by husband, Terry D. Kessler; son, Tim (Marsha Zavoda) Kessler and sister, Judy (Paul) Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received from 1-3:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Home 26 River Street Madison, Ohio 44057.

I knew Janet very well. She started at Morton Salt in 1975 & worked for me in the storeroom. May she rest in peace now without anymore health issues.
