Jane Hayes

Jane Hayes, age 86, of Madison, passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 at her home. Born September 7, 1926 in Connecticut she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Anne Hard. She married Daniel Hayes on October 7, 1950 in Red Hook, NY. A graduate of Syracuse University Jane worked for many years as a registered nurse for WIC in Ashtabula. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother she loved shopping and a good game of scrabble. Jane is survived by her daughters Cathy (Steve) Crawford of Avon Lake; Sue (Craig) Webster of Madison & Beth Hayes of Cleveland Heights; grandchildren, Joshua & Ian Webster, Leah Barron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hayes and son, Danny Hayes. Private family services will be observed.
