Jane E. Lazok-Sibell, age 79 of Harpersfield Township, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing. She was born April 21, 1947 in Cleveland, the daughter of Mildred (Hribal) and Alton G. Lazok. She married Roger A. Sibell in Solon on May 25, 1990.

Janie grew up in Moreland Hills, Ohio and has been a resident of Harpersfield since 2001, moving from Twinsburg. As a member of the Harpersfield Ruritans she was active in helping with the annual clambake and calendar. Janie was passionate about her beloved pets and rescued numerous greyhounds and other dogs and cats.

Janie is survived by her furry best friend, Izzy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; her parents, Alton and Mildred, many of her beloved dogs and cats.

Private services will be observed. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.   4. My husband Jim, delivered Janie’s groceries and he would spent time with her every time he brought her groceries over. Jimmy and Janie developed a friendship. We took a trip for our grandson’s graduation in April and Jimmy never delivered to her again. He stopped by her house a couple of times since April and he said it didn’t look as if anybody was living there. I reached out to several assisted living facilities in Madison, looking for her. He told me today that he drove by her home today and was hoping a neighbor would be out but none were so I googled her and that’s how we found out about her passing. I feel awful that I didnt try harder to find her for Jimmy. I wish I had met her. RIP Janie
