James Walter West, 80, passed away in the early morning of January 8, 2018 at the Lantern of Saybrook. He served proudly in the United States Army and was an electrician by trade. Funeral service for Jim will be 11am Friday, January 12, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home 26 River St., Madison OH 44057. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service. Final resting place will be Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Jim's name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula OH 44004.   5. i used to take care of james at the lanter and he was my number one. i still think about him quite often even today i did. i’m going to eventually make my way go visit him ah the cemetery even if i have to spend all day finding his spot. have some pictures i wanna leave there for him. i remember i asked him what he liked to listen to, and he told me elvis. we slow danced and it was a very treasuring moment for me that i will remember for the rest of my time on earth. you are never forgotten PaPa❤️❤️❤️
