James Robert Thompson

James Robert Thompson, age 66 of Geneva, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Born on December 4, 1951 in Ravenna, Ohio, he was the son of Genevieve (Rogers) and Robert S. Thompson.
Jimmy worked as an assembler for Ashcraft Industries for over 40 years and was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan. He loved dancing and trips to the bowling alley. He was also a member of the Geneva Church of Christ.
He is survived by his brothers: Richard (Dolores) Thompson, Thomas R. Thompson, and David A. Thompson; sister: Sharon (Randy) McKinney; nieces; Lori (Brian) Bartone, Ashley and Amy Fontanez, Tina (Aaron) Frederick and Trisha Thompson; and nephew, Tommy Thompson. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4:00pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva with a service to follow at 4pm. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. Online obituary and guestbook at www.behmfuneral.com
