James R. Fidel

James R. Fidel, age 60, of Madison, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013. He was born September 7, 1953 the son of Carol (Arilson) and Robert Scoville. A graduate of Geneva High School Jim was a member of the American Legion Post 112. He loved to work outdoors and was proud of the creativity he was able to display as the owner of Sandy Ridge Hardscapes. A true perfectionist, he was involved with every aspect reflecting his personal touch on every job. He also enjoyed his many trips with his long time companion Valerie. Jim is survived by the love of his life: Valerie A. Sladek; his mother: Carol (Fred) Frisbie; sisters: Tamara (David) Gabor, and Ann (Rick) Whaley all of Madison. He also leaves his three loving feline friends. Jim was preceeded in death by his father Robert and brother Louie. Private family services for Jim will be observed.
