James Michael Niederer

James Michael Niederer, age 54, of Madison, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was born August 8, 1959, in Summit, NJ, to Mary Jane (Floyd) & Otto Christopher Niederer, Sr. A 1978 graduate of Madison High School, Jim had a great sense of humor and always loved a good practical joke. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and boating. As a quality control inspector, he worked for several years at Habco Tool and Development in Mentor and most recently Accurate Metal Machining in Painesville. He is survived by his wife, Mary Donlin Niederer; sisters Mary Jane (Edward) McGuire of Florham Park, NJ; Alice Elizabeth (Stephen) Putzer of Baldwinsville, NY; Mary Catherine (John) Berly of Geneva; Margaret Mary (David) Clawson of Geneva; and sister-in-law Lori Niederer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Otto Christopher Niederer, Jr. and sister, Susan Ann Walsh. Family and friends will be received 12 – 2 PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Mr. Thomas Hupertz officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
