James Michael Matthews

James M. ?Mike? Matthews, 67, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010. Born November 23, 1942, in Painesville, to Jane E. (Corcoran) & Thomas E. Matthews he married Barbara L. Wichman on March 26, 1966 in Madison, Ohio. Mike was a Railroad Brakeman/Conductor for Norfolk & Southern Railroad and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a former member of Odd fellows Lodge in Madison and was an avid woodworker. He is survived by his wife: Barbara L. Matthews of Madison; Son, James (Christine) Matthews of Painesville; Daughter, Regina Matthews of Willowick; Grandchildren, Rachelle Matthews of Willowick, Amanda, Kyle & Jaret Matthews of Madison; Brother, Thomas C. Matthews of Deepwood Center, Mentor; Sisters, Jane Marie Carosello of Odessa, FL & Eleanor (George) Henderson of Painesville. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Mary Volante & Martha (Ward-Neville) Richardson; Brother, Daniel ?Danny? Matthews Graveside Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery, Madison, Ohio.
