James L. Cooper, Age 86, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 22, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mary (Kohler) & William J.B. Cooper he married Eleanor Tryon on May 27, 1967.
Retired as Service and Body Shop Manager at Euclid Chrysler
He was a Navy veteran, serving as a Navy Seabee in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Euclid Post 343 and Central Congregational Church. He enjoyed his daily walks in the park with his dog, Brutis. He was an avid cook & baker and had many varied interests including photography, gardening, bowling and working on his cars.
He is survived by Wife, Eleanor Cooper of Madison; Children, Debra Duy, Karen (Patrick) Stewart, Laura (Victor) Qui ones, Carolynn (Jack) Neumore, Terry (HwaSu) Tryon, Wayne Tryon;
12 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Bill & Henry Cooper.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister, Alice Leybeck
A Celebration of Life will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park Street, Madison, Ohio. Friends will be received 11:00 AM 12:30 PM at the church.
