James L. Cooper

James L. Cooper, Age 86, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Born October 22, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mary (Kohler) & William J.B. Cooper he married Eleanor Tryon on May 27, 1967. Retired as Service and Body Shop Manager at Euclid Chrysler He was a Navy veteran, serving as a Navy Seabee in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Euclid Post 343 and Central Congregational Church. He enjoyed his daily walks in the park with his dog, Brutis. He was an avid cook & baker and had many varied interests including photography, gardening, bowling and working on his cars. He is survived by Wife, Eleanor Cooper of Madison; Children, Debra Duy, Karen (Patrick) Stewart, Laura (Victor) Qui ones, Carolynn (Jack) Neumore, Terry (HwaSu) Tryon, Wayne Tryon; 12 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Bill & Henry Cooper. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister, Alice Leybeck A Celebration of Life will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park Street, Madison, Ohio. Friends will be received 11:00 AM 12:30 PM at the church.
