James "Jim" Stockey

James “Jim” Stockey, 80, of Rock Creek, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1944 to Charles and Ruth Stockey in Cleveland. He married his loving wife, Dorothy on September 7th, 1963 in Willowick.

James worked in machine repair and enjoyed classic cars, guns and music. Special thanks and appreciation to Don and Sherry Wilbur and Bill Smith for all their help and caring over the many years, and to Gail Justice from the Country Neighbor Program.

James is survived by his daughter, Annamarie (David) Akins; grandchildren, Amanda, Bill, and Steve; great-grandchildren, Christian, Wyatt, Jaxon, Julia, Alexander and Cassanova; brother, Charles (Sandy) Stockey; sister, Darlene (Charles) Bistrican and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Rosemarie Akins, and his parents.
