James Azbill

James Sarge Azbill, Age 70, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord Township. Born on June 10, 1941 in Hamilton, Ohio to Marie (Humphrey) and Leonard Azbill, he married Deanna Petersen on February 29, 1964 in Bothell WA. Sarge served in the US Army during Vietnam and retired from the military in 1979. He worked for several years at for the Mentor Police Dept. and the Mentor Road Dept. He went on to retire as a security guard for CEI. He loved hunting and fishing, while spending time at the family cabin in Pennsylvania. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by Wife, Deanna Azbill of Madison; Sons, Dane Azbill of Madison, Mark (Jacqueline) Azbill of Madison; Granddaughters, Jamie, Haley and Brittany; Grandson, Jordan; Sister, Peggy Jean Burgess of Middletown; Mother-in-law, Margaret Petersen of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be observed.
