Redecker Age 89 Resident of Madison, Ohio Passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at home. Born July 11, 1920 in Geneva, Ohio to Anna (Mann) & Guy Redecker Married Donna E. Easterbrook on 9/27/1941 in Geneva, Ohio Occupation: Machine Operator at TRW. Also worked at the Behm Family Funeral Home for 45 years. Memberships and Affiliations: Served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre where he was awarded a Purple Heart and a Silver Star. George served as a captain in the Madison Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years, retiring as a Captain. He is survived by Wife of 68 years Donna Madison, OH 3 Sons Curt (Ellen) Redecker Lancaster, CA David (Doreen) Redecker The Plains, OH Rev. Craig (Nancy) Redecker New Concord,OH 6 Grandchildren 10 Great-Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Granddaughter He was preceded in death by Parents; Brothers, Robert & Henry and Granddaughter Jennifer Ramirez. Friends will be received 2-5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OHIO Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 26, 2009 at the funeral home Rev. Larry Wade and Dr. Terry Litton will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
