Jacob A. Castrilla, age 84 a resident of Geneva, Ohio formerly of Madison, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Geneva Village Nursing Home. Born February 20, 1922 in Conneaut, Ohio to Rose (Bartone) & Felix Castrilla Married Joyce H. Smith in Conneaut, Ohio on 9/6/1947 Was the Owner/ Operator with his wife Joyce, of Springwood Products in Geneva Jacob served the U.S. Army in European Theatre in World War II. Past President of Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Madison Kiwanis Club. Past member of Conneaut Jaycees. Member of National Association of Accountants and Park United Methodist Church and a 15- year councilman in Conneaut; Conneaut American Legion. He is survived by his Wife of 59 years Joyce H. (Smith)Castrilla of Geneva; Daughter Linda (Bob) Slaga of Brunswick, Ohio; Sons Gregory (Jan) Castrilla of Geneva; Thomas (Carole) Castrilla, Sr. of Rock Creek; Gary A. Castrilla of Geneva; Grandchildren: Thomas (Kristen) Jr, Adam, Laura, Jacob II, David & Beth Castrilla; Sarah (Dan) Toth; Jennifer & Joshua Slaga; Great Grandchildren Anthony Toth & Ariana Castrilla; Sisters Marion Dewey of Ashtabula, Ohio; Rosalie Moisio of Conneaut, Ohio; He was preceded in death by His Parents, Rose (Bartone) & Felix Castrilla; Sisters Irene Devereaux & Jennie Bortz and Brothers William, Joseph and Phil Castrilla Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday, February 8, 2007 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OH. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 9, 2007 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River Street, Madison. Rev. Barry Holub of Park United Methodist Church will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison. Contributions may be made to Park United Methodist Church, Madison, Ohio
