Isabelle Zena Moyer

Isabelle Zena Moyer, age 92, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing. She was born November 29, 1924 in Hamilton, Ontario to William and Christina (Thomson) Henderson. She married Maurice C. Moyer in Hamilton, Ontario on February 5, 1945.
Isabelle worked in Medical Records for 25 years at Geauga Hospital. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, bowling, golf and camping. She enjoyed getting together with her friends at Wendy's Wacky Widows Club. She was also a member of Chapel United Methodist Church and Madison YMCA.
She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Kenneth) Russell, Carol (David) Cary, David Moyer; five grandchildren, Christina (Matthew) Wiley, Alicia (William) Stegall, Kaila Mortach, Heather (Seth) Winter, Michael (Bo) Cary; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Maurice; her parents, William and Christina Henderson; sisters, Jessie Mills, Elizabeth McAlpine; grandson, John Moyer; and grandson-in-law, William Stegall.
Friends will be received Saturday, April 22nd at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH from 4 to 6 pm. with a Funeral Service immediately following at 6 pm. Final Resting Place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison, OH.

I played golf with Isabelle on Tues. and Thurs. We also enjoyed her in our Investment Club and always enjoyed her wit and positive attitude. She was a wonderful person and enjoyed by all. I will have many great memories of her.
