Irene M. Klag

Irene M. Klag, age 96, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Cardinal Woods. She was born February 11, 1925 in Painesville, the daughter of Carl F. Peine, Sr. and Estella (Bruening) Peine. Irene was a homemaker who loved cooking, baking, sewing and knitting. She was her strongest in her catholic faith and enjoyed participating in the rosary, the Friday fish fry and various church functions. She was a wonderful, loving sister and aunt. She is survived by her brothers, Robert R. Peine and Carl F. (Sondra) Peine, Jr., and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Albert Peine. Friends will be received 10 am to 11 am Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison with a Service at 11 am.
