Irene I Rock

Irene I. Rock, age 89, of Geneva, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at Geneva Village Retirement Community. She was born April 23, 1924 in Bradley, OH to Elizabeth (Szelled) & Joseph Torok and married George Rock on November 8, 1952 in Smithfield, OH. Irene enjoyed polka and country music. She also enjoyed baking Hungarian pastries and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Brad) Pitzer of Madison; son, Allen (Debra) Rock of Brighton, MI; granddaughters, Ashley Pitzer of Cleveland, Jennifer (John) Monroe of Brighton, MI, Heather (Mike) Hudson of Ganesvoort, NY & Ariel Rock of Los Angeles, CA; great-grandchildren Cannon & Kellan Monroe of Brighton, MI, Madison & Sean Hudson of Ganesvoort, NY; brothers, James & Louis Torok both of Smithfield, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents; brothers, John, Andrew, Joseph, Steve, Harry, Julius Torok; sisters, Elizabeth Torok, Margaret Klapka, Mary Bartek, Bertha Ingler. Friends will be received 1-2 pm Friday, October 18, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio, with a service following at 2:00 PM. Richard Eifert, Chaplain for Harbor Light Hospice will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
