Irene Catherine Janeczek

Irene Catherine Janeczek, age 90 of Madison, passed away at Uh Geneva Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 27, 2022.  Born on June 11, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine (Tobias) Brestowski. Irene was a fixture at the Geneva Inn for over 35 years where she worked as a manager, and server. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, casinos, cooking and polka music. She is survived by her children, Stephen Janezcek, and Denise (Ralf) Caswell; grandchildren, Nikki (James Coker) Caswell, Cassi (Jeffrey Banker) Caswell, and Robert (Courtney) Caswell; great granddaughter, Mackenzie; brothers, Ed and Robert “Chip” (Sandy) Brestowski. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; son, Curtis; her parents, and several brothers and sisters. A private family burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Drums, PA.  The family suggests contributions in Irene’s name to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison, OH 44057 or to Madison Senior Center, 2938 Hubbard Rd., Madison, OH. 44057.
