Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I was so happy to have met Irene after my daughter Tina married her son John, and they gave us both a lovely granddaughter Halle to share. We had some very nice long conversations at various times. Irene never lacked the ability to converse. I learned so much more after reading the obituary and learned even more about what an amazing woman, mother, grandmother Irene is. I liked looking at Irene’s photo daily on Grandpad to see how she was doing. Her family loved her a great deal and I grew to love her as well. I sent Irene my artwork periodically to try and cheer her up. Until we meet again I love Irene…..Dolly Ward

  2. I never met Irene Hummel but I was very close friends with her daughters, Kathy and Debbie. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Please get in touch with me. I would love to talk with you both. Love Susie.

  3. Your loss will be felt deeply in our home. I’m hoping and praying that the hydrangea you gifted me the first time we met will be blooming in October so that I can in-cooperate some of them into our wedding day. We will be thinking of you on that day and wishing you were there.

  4. I was very sad to see the passing of my friend Irene Hummel. We go back a long time when she and Buzz lived near us in Madison. My sympathy to all her family, because she was a wonderful lady and I know she’s gonna be dearly missed!

  5. I’m so very sorry to hear of your mother’s passing.

The angels have taken your mom home & her smiling face will be missed. May your memories help heal your hearts. Know that you are in my thoughts n prayers & that I’m sending you lots of love & hugs.

    Your cousin,
    Jan Cook
