Inez Nonny Tersigni

Inez "Nonny" Tersigni, age 74, of Geneva passed away Friday, July 18, 2014. Born May 26, 1940 in Chattanooga, TN, she was the daughter of Mildred & James Thompson. She married Adolph Tersigni on September 13, 1958 in Geneva. Nonny worked for the Geneva Area Schools for 29 years. She was a 1958 graduate of Platt R. Spencer High School. Nonny was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and a life member of VFW #6846 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, gardening and bird watching. She is survived by her husband, Adolph of Geneva; children, Tony Tersigni of Madison, Jim (Carol) Tersigni of Geneva, Anita Tersigni of Saybrook, John Tersigni of Kathmandu, Terri Tersigni of Elkton, MD; grandchildren, Jim, Joy, Kayla, Ally and sister, Cora Liz Reynolds of Posen, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Bokulich; brothers, Charles Thompson, Harry Thompson, Edgar "Tut" Thompson, James "Buddy" Thompson. A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 am on Friday July 25, 2014 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street in Geneva. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to VFW Post 6846 Women's Auxiliary, 76 Depot Rd., Geneva, OH 44041 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P O Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148.
